Users/UsersThe Users section of the ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software Admin CP lets you manage your dating website or social network members and visitors.
The first subsection – Users – provides a full list of your currently active and inactive members sorted in order of registration (ID reference in the ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software Member Database). Each user list page contains 20 entries, to jump to the next page click the Next link, found on the right side of the Pages Links, to jump to the previous page click the Prev link, found on the left side of the Pages Links. In the middle you will see a row of numbers (clickable) each representing a page number. (For example, 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 of 37). Each number is clickable, and will take you to the needed page. You can also click the last page number without having to scroll through the whole list of page numbers. To have access to pages 11 to 20 you will have to click the >> link, and to go back to 1-10 links click the << link.
Sorting the User-list by Name, Age, Orientation, etc.
ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software keeps a thorough and powerful database of its members and it may be quite difficult to find and keep track of certain members or some members in particular. ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software lets you sort the full (and the filtered) member lists by Username, Password (or MD5-Hash, if MD5 encryption is enabled (see Options/Site Options)), Gold Days, Mail, Orientation, Age.
By clicking the Username link the ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software Member (User) list will be sorted in ascending order, from 0 (zero numeral) 9, and A to Z. A little arrow pointing upwards signifies the type of sorting – ascending, an arrow pointing down near the Username link means that the list is sorted in descending order (from Z to A, from 9 to 0). The same concept works for the other filters.
ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software will automatically sort and organize the User List in ascending (A to Z) or descending (Z to A) order by Password or MD5 Hash. The passwords are completely viewable and readable by the Admin, which makes it easy to recover lost passwords. But, it is recommended to switch on the MD5 encryption setting (in the Options/Site Options section), in order to respect your members’ privacy and make your ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software powered website a safer place.
The Users List can be sorted according to the Type of PHP community membership. ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software makes it possible to have Silver, Gold and Platinum users on a social network software powered web resource.
ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software does also sort your social network and community members by the amount of Gold (Platinum and Silver) Membership Days left – ascending (from 0 to 999) and descending (from 999 to 0). This makes it possible to notify Silver/Gold/Platinum Members of their Gold Day limit, or offer non-Gold Members a chance to take advantage of the Silver/Gold/Platinum Features of your ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software powered website community.
User e-Mail Addresses may also be sorted in descending or ascending order. ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software will sort users’ e-mail addresses when you click the Mail link.
Orientation is also sorted by ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software code. This proves to be convenient to gather statistical information about your members’ orientations. Users with same type of orientation will be sorted according to their database ID number (according to date and time of registration).
ABK-Soft AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software will also sort your community members according to their Age. By clicking the Age link the list will be sorted in ascending order, by clicking the Age link again the list will be sorted in descending order.
Users/Search
The second sub-section – Search – lets ABK-Soft Dating Software 2.4 Administrators search for a specific user based on certain criteria. This user search function is vital for any php community and any dating script, allowing administrators to contact (promotion, advertising, resource notification of upcoming events, etc.) a specific area of members of their php community resources. Any of the search fields may be filled to get a few or a lot of exact search results. The list of users search results will be presented in the same format as in the general users list (see above, section Users/Users) with the exception of being filtered by the search criteria.
PHP Community user search criteria:
Gold/Free – Selecting either Gold (Silver/Platinum) or Free social network member status will filter the search results displaying only Gold, Silver and/or Platinum users. This filter may be used to find PHP community members who have not yet bought a membership, thus gathering a list of potential PHP community membership clients.
Name – Entering a name will filter the search results list by name of dating software powered website members. For example: entering ‘Mary’ and clicking the ‘Search’ button will bring up all the PHP community members with the registered name of Mary. This may be used for promotional activity, such as congratulation messages on St.Mary’s Day, etc. Community Software Administrators may also find their friends if they are running the dating script and dating website service in local or foreign modes.
E-mail – Searching by e-mail criteria may be useful when trying to track down PHP community members when all the administrator has is a single e-mail. It is not rare for social network users to send e-mail messages to the Administration of social network websites with questions, suggestions, etc. from external mailboxes or online. Some dating software administrators will not want to answer to unknown e-mail senders, and searching by e-mail through the ABK-Soft internal dating script database may be useful to find out whether a sender is a member (paying or not) of the social network or not.
Date register from/to – These fields let ABK-Soft AbleDating Community Software administrators search for or in (if used in combination with other search criteria fields) PHP community members who registered (became members) within a specified period. The format of the date are YYYY-MM-DD (Y – year, M – month, D – day). For example, if you want to find all the social network users who registered in May 2007 you will have to enter 2007-05-01 into the ‘from’ field (first field) and 2007-05-31 into the ‘to’ field (second field). After having clicked the ‘Search’ button a list of users registered in your PHP social network will be shown. This type of user search may be useful for statistical usage, i.e. to find out how many users have registered in the PHP dating software database within a specific period of time.
From/to years old – The filter will sieve out all the registered PHP community users which are not in the specified range of ages. Example: setting the ‘from’ age to 25 and the ‘to’ age to 30 will display all the dating software users from age 25 to age 30. This too may be useful for statistical gathering of information. Knowing what ages is the social network script popular with may be vital in the future formation of marketing tactics and strategies, designs, features and functions.
Orientation – The following four checkboxes are intended for the filtration of PHP community members based on orientation type. ‘Man seeking a Woman’, ‘Woman seeking a Man’, ‘Man seeking a Man’, ‘Woman seeking a Woman’ – each of the checkboxes represents an orientation type. Any and all of the four checkboxes can be clicked (enabled). All the dating software powered community members with the specified orientation will be displayed in the users list search results. This may be used for promotional and statistical analysis, too.
Relationship Type – The search results will contain PHP community members filtered out according to the relationship type that was specified in their profiles upon registration (social network community sign up). Each of the four checkboxes, as with the case above, represents a relationship type – ‘Marriage’, ‘Casual’, ‘Serious’, ‘Friends’. For example, this may be used to acquire a list of people who signed up in the social network system to, hopefully, get married. Sending small marriage and relationship tips to these PHP community members shows the Administration’s support.
Location – PHP community members can be filtered out by location. There are three drop-down menus each representing COUNTRY, STATE/REGION, CITY. As with some of the above search criteria, this may be used for statistical analysis, or for personal use to find dating script members which live in a specific location.
Keyword – The keyword field is used to even further specify the exactness of a PHP community user search. The keyword is tied to any PHP community user search field. This may be useful when other fields did not prove to provide relevant search results.
The ‘Search’ button submits all the search criteria to the dating software user search engine. Combining search criteria may prove to be versatile and useful to further narrow search results to a highly specific area of PHP community software powered website members.
A few things to note and common search related troubleshooting:
Users/Audio Approval
The fourth sub-section, under the label of “Audio Approval” – is the dating software member audio file upload management utility, which lets the PHP community script administrators add and/or delete submitted PHP community member audio files, which have been submitted for approval. This PHP social network software administration feature will not be available if the “Audio need to be checked” setting in the Options/Site options section of the community software administration control panel is turned off.

The audio will be approved and added to the PHP social network. These files can be later on deleted from the server using the dating software Administration CP (Control Panel).
Delete – This radio-button, contrary to the ‘Add’ setting above, is used to permanently delete any audio file submitted by the PHP community network member. The image will be irrevocably deleted and will not be shown on any of the pages of the PHP social network powered website.
Add Button – The red ‘Add’ button at the bottom of the administration page saves all the changes made to the list of waiting-for-approval audio files. The approvals and/or disapprovals will take effect after clicking the red ‘Add’ button at the bottom.
Warning! Clicking the ‘Add’ button causes the application of the dating script management changes made to the list. All deleted audio files will be completely lost and unrecoverable. It is advised to pay extra attention to make sure that the correct settings are to be applied to the list.
Approving and disapproving PHP community member submitted audio:
Approving PHP community members’ audio files – These steps must be followed to approve, thus adding, an image pending in the member audio file approval list of the social network script administration control panel:
-The ‘Add’ radio-button next to the relevant community member audio files should be clicked.
-The ‘Add’ command button, found at the bottom of the page, should be clicked in order to apply the changes to the pending approval member audio list.
Any number of audio files can be selected, thus entitled for approval. The dating script powered website members’ audio files which have the ‘Add’ setting enabled will be added to their PHP social network profiles and audio galleries.
Deleting PHP community members’ audio files – These steps must be followed to delete any audio file pending for approval in the dating script administration ‘Audio Approval’ list:
-The ‘Delete’ radio-button next to the PHP community member audio file which does not qualify for approval should be selected by left-clicking the radio-button with the ‘Delete’ label.
-The ‘Add’ command button will apply all the changes, i.e. removal of all non-qualifying audio files, made to the PHP community member audio file approval list.
Any number of pending audio files may be selected and deleted.
Warning! All unapproved audio files will be deleted from the PHP dating software and social network script host server.

PHP social network member audio that should not be approved (not necessarily):

-Copyright protected material – mp3 songs.
The user-friendly administration control panel interface lets ABK-Soft’s AbleDating 2.4 PHP Social Network owners easily handle the audio approval process. Because of the fact that the selection process is not done separately for disapproval and approval, but simultaneously, the audio moderation of PHP community members’ digital audio files proves to be less time consuming – PHP dating software owners can guarantee a smoothly running, clean social network resource.
Users/Essay Approval
The Essay Approval sub-section of the dating software administration users section gives the owners of the PHP social network resource to control the content of the user submitted essays. This sub-section contains all the essays that have been submitted for approval by members of the PHP community website. This PHP social community software administration function will not be available if the “Essays need to be checked” setting found in the Options/Site options section of the social network software administration control panel is set to ‘Disabled’.
The Essay Approval system provides the full list of currently pending for approval PHP social network user essays which have been recently submitted for approval, or disapproval. The member essay approval list contains the following information:
Headline – The title of the PHP community member-submitted essay is displayed in this field.
Essay – The contents of the social network member essay can be viewed in the text-field under the ‘Essay’ label.
Add – This radio-button option is used to select the submitted by the PHP social network member essay which does qualify for approval, and will be added to the social network portal. These essays can be deleted or modified in the future using the PHP dating script Administration CP (Control Panel).
Delete – This radio-button, marked ‘Delete’, is used to mark unapproved dating member essays which will be permanently deleted from the webpages dynamically generated by AbleDating 2.4 Community Script.
Add Button – The ‘Add’, which is located at the very bottom of the dating software administration control panel applies the currently selected changes to be made to the list of waiting-for-approval essays. The essays marked for disapproval and/or approval will be either deleted or added after clicking this red ‘Add’ button at the bottom.
Warning! Clicking ‘Add’ will apply the changes made to the dating script essay approval and management list. Any and all deleted essay files will be erased from the dating software host server. Make sure that you know exactly which essays are to be deleted.
Approving, disapproving and modifying PHP social network member submitted essays:
Approving PHP community members’ profile essays – These steps should be followed to ensure the correct addition of a social network member essay, pending in the member essay approval list of the matchmaking script administration control panel:
-The ‘Add’ setting next to the PHP community member essay that is to be approved should be clicked.
-The ‘Add’ button, located at the bottom of the page, should be clicked in order for the changes to the pending approval PHP dating script member essay list to take effect.
Any number of essays can be selected for approval and further addition. The dating script powered website members’ essays which have the ‘Add’ mark enabled will be added to their PHP social network and community resource profiles.
Deleting PHP community members’ essays – These steps should be followed in order to achieve complete removal of one or several essays pending for administration approval in the dating software administration ‘Audio Approval’ list:
-The ‘Delete’ button near the PHP social network member essay which cannot be accepted by the terms, regulations and conditions of the dating script powered resource approval should be selected by left-clicking the radio-button with the ‘Delete’ text next to it.
-The ‘Add’ command button will delete all the PHP community member essays waiting for approval.
Any number of pending PHP community member profile essays may be selected and removed.
Modifying PHP social network script member essays – These steps should be taken in order to modify a headline or a body of a social network member submitted essay:
-All the member profile essays can be modified using the text-boxes provided on the Essay Approval page of the social network administration page. Changing the headline and the essay text is done by editing the PHP community member submitted text directly, as one would do in Notepad.
-The ‘Add’ button will add the essay with the PHP dating script administrator’s modifications.
Warning! All unapproved essays will be deleted from the PHP community software and social network script host server and will not be object of inconvenience to the administration and the other community members. Modifications to either the headlines or the bodies of the PHP community member submitted essays cannot be undone.

Recommended list of PHP social network member essays that should not be approved (not necessarily):
-Social network member essays containing profanity, -Community script member essays containing advertisements and spam, -Dating script profile essays containing personal contact information: ICQ, MSN, e-mails, telephone numbers, etc., -Essays containing racial, religious and other propaganda.
