Social Network Groups
AbleDating 2.4 Dating Software and AbleSpace 1.0 Community Script have an integrated Groups feature which allows registered members (depending on their membership access settings) to create their own interest groups, hold discussions on their personal dating or social network bulletin board and forum, etc. The categories in which users can create their Groups are managed from the Groups section of the dating script Administration Control Panel.The Groups management screen is very simple. There is a list of Group Categories which can be edited by the Administrator only. While groups inside these Categories are created by the dating script members. The Administrator has control over member Groups, Forums and Bulletins. Each Category has a number in brackets, denoting the number of Groups present in that Category.

Adding a Group Category
To add a Group Category simply scroll down to the bottom of the Category list and type in the title of the Category and press the Add Category button once. The new Category will be instantly added to the dating script Category list.
Editing a Group Category
Click the Edit link next to a User Group Category to change its name. After altering the name of the Category in the text box click the Edit Category button to save changes.
Deleting a Group Category
By pressing the Delete link next to a Group Category that Category will be removed together with all the contents - Groups, Forums and Bulletins. WARNING! THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE. ALL INFORMATION WILL BE LOST!
>>> Groups
To access the Groups of a Category, simply click the link of the Category in the dating script Admin CP Groups section. The number of Groups inside a Category can be seen in the form of a number in the title of a Group. For example: Music (9) – means that there are 9 Groups in the Music Category. Once inside the Category a list of user created Groups is displayed. Browse through the list using the Navigation at the bottom (Prev [Page Numbers] Next, these will be disabled if there is enough entries for one page only).
Groups cannot be added by Administrators. Groups are created by dating script members with access to the feature only. Nevertheless, Groups and any content inside them can be Edited and Deleted by the dating script Administrator.
Editing a Group Name
To edit a Group Name simply click the <>b>Edit button next to the dating script Group, change the name and click the Edit Category button.
Deleting a Group
To remove a Group and its contents entirely click the Delete link next to it. WARNING! THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE. ALL INFORMATION INSIDE THE GROUP (Forums, Bulletins, etc.) WILL BE LOST!

Dating script Members have the possibility to create their own dating forums inside their Groups. AbleDating and AbleSpace Administrators can Edit and Delete user created dating forums.
Editing a Group Forum
Click the Edit link next to the dating script dating script User Group to access the Forum Management section. The Forum Editor has the same basic structure where you can Edit and Delete User Topics and Posts (including Subjects and Bodies). To save changes after Editing or Deleting dating script Topics and Post hit the Edit Forum button.
Deleting a Group Forum
To remove unwanted posts, threads and whole forums click the Delete button. This will instantly remove any unwanted content. WARNING! THE DELETE GROUP FORUM CANNOT BE UNDONE. ALL THE DATA INSIDE THE FORUM (Post, Threads, etc.) WILL BE LOST!

To access the Bulletins area click the Bulletins link next to the Group. Bulletins are managed in the same way as Forums are. Please refer above for more information. AbleDating and AbleSpace have a similar dating script management policy – uniformity, efficiency, and user-friendliness.
>>> Group Members
Dating script members can join Groups and take an active part in Forum discussions and enjoy dating Bulletin Boards. Members choose which dating and social network Groups to join. The dating software Administrator has the right to Ban and Delete Members in Groups. Click the Members link next to the Group to access the Members Management Area.
Banning and Unbanning Members
To ban a dating script User from a specific User Group, enter the Members section inside a Group and press the Edit button. Set the Ban drop-down list to Yes and press the Edit User button to save changes. To unban a Member from a Group, the Ban drop-down list is to be set to No.
Removing Members from Groups
Your dating website Members can be removed from Groups upon request from the Group starters (for spam, flame, flood, etc.). To remove a member from a Group press the Delete link next to the member’s name. Removed Members will be free to join the Group again. To block them you will have to Ban them (see above).
